David King-Farlow

David is a widower and a retired Solicitor since 2015. He was formerly a partner with Pritchard Englefield from 1973, and Senior Partner from 2007 to 2010 (since when the firm has merged with Thomas Eggar and is now part of Irwin Mitchell LLP). At Pritchard Englefield, he was head of the Private Client Department, specialising in wills, trusts and inheritance tax planning, occupational pension schemes, and charities.

He has been a Trustee of The Athlone Trust since the 1990s, and Chairman and Chief Administrator since 2000. His interests are his daughter Emma and her theatre production company Shadow Road Productions; playing and watching tennis; attending and helping out at his local church; walking and playing with the family dog, Buddy; going to the theatre, listening to music, reading, working on his novel, and gardening! (He likes to think that his late wife Kay would be extremely proud of the garden he and Emma have created in the new house!).
